Done a little searching but i couldn't find a post specifically regarding polishing products.

Being new to detailing, what polishing products would you guys recommend for a new car (Stinger should be delivered this week) before applying a wax / sealing product

TIA

There is an ever increasing amount of new brands/products being released and it will be overwhelming to most newcomers to detailing. I would suggest looking at some of the kits available at many of the online retailers (Detailed Image, Autogeek, ect...) and going with one of the more widely know brands. For a beginner, the Griots GG6 BOSS kits are great as are the Meguiars MT300 kits. These are both 8MM offset DA tools which are relatively safe, easy to use, and they won't break the bank like the more expensive large throw DA tools.

check out local Korean brands. they are very sought after in Europe and the US. we get them much cheaper here. US brands are much more expensive as a result.

A good polish for a brand new car, try Carpro Essence. For a totally brand new car, a paint cleanser may already be sufficient, something like Fireball Paintwork Cleanser.

if you have your car already ceramic coated, you want to use Carpro Essence Plus. its designed to refresh the ceramic coating and prolong their life
