Planning to upgrade rotors- any tips?

Hello everyone, I think it’s finally that time. I’m approaching 48k miles on my 22’ awd 3.3 scorpion edition and I’m ready to upgrade my brakes to match a bit of the stoppage. I went with z26 extreme street pads and SP performance dimpled/slotted rotors finished in black zinc.

This will be my first time replacing rotors, and I’ve been told I’m meant to hit them with a healthy amount of brake cleaner to get the factory oil off. Besides that, the installation seems very straight-forward. Anything I should know/look for/tools that will make this less of a pain to get done? Any tips or advice (even if it’s negative about my choice of products) are welcome.
