Hey all, proud new GT2 owner here having some issues. Stupidly didn't check passenger seat electrical when test driving my car, everything else was fine. Bought the car and had a passenger realize a day later that the seat would not move. No biggie, checked underneath the seat and noticed its pin connector was unhooked. Plugged it in and the seat moves like it should, but now I'm getting a rear collision sensor warning as well as a cross traffic sensor warning. Additionally, none of the proximity sensors for parking are working. All of this starts working again as soon as I unhook the pin connector under the passenger seat.

I'm bringing it into the dealership this week but wanted to ask around to see if anyone here had any ideas or has had something like this happen. This seems really strange to me.

Welcome to you and your unicorn electronics issue! Hope you get it sorted right away.

I'm not a mechanic but I've watched enough samcrac to take a guess. There's a module that seat connects to, its on the canbus, and its f'd up sending bad signals to the rest of the bus. Good luck.

Previous owner or shop probably discovered this and that's why they left the seat disconnected.
