So after owning this car for just under a month, i gave it a quick bath in the driveway today, I'm starting to hate doing that because I'm always finding something new... car is 1450km on it. Just found this on passenger side where fender and front bumper connect. Paint is crushed/bunched like when the dealer recieved it with plastic wrap they slipped with a pry tool or something. I know its minor but what should I do? 20180515_114833.webp 20180515_114829.webp

Doesn't look like anything to be concerned about. It's hard to tell with the water droplets, but remove any flaking paint if it's there, and get some paint back on the exposed area as soon as possible. I haven't seen what applicator is used on the touch up paint supplied by KIA, but that looks like a perfect spot to make use of a small touch up brush. Once you do that, you'll never even notice it was there.

Though I don't have a need for it yet, next time I'm by the dealer I'll be picking up some touch up paint - it's inevitable that small rock chips, etc. are going to happen.

I use touch up paint from Automotive Touchup dot com and have for years. Perfect color match. They must supply dealers also because if they don't have the color listed, they will make a batch and sell a bottle. Bottles come with brushes, not a "color pen" (whatever the heck that is.)

I would have the dealer document the issue in case it gets worse after that I would just touch it up.
