So I made a poor choice this week. I let a friend try to remove my front emblem. He said he's done a few and it would be easy. He used a card and scrapped the front quite badly, I'm just looking for suggestions. Thanks
Ouch! "A card!?" That's the first time I've heard of anyone trying that "method". My temporary suggestion is to apply touchup paint sparingly to those glaring black patches. Then look around for a pro to swap your badges and do a pro touchup job. It might cost a few hundred bucks to get rid of that damage. But there's no way I'd that much touchup paint going forward (i.e. permanently; mind, I have a spot of my own that I got from a rock right through to the black plastic; and nothing I tried, from wet sandpaper to a single swipe with a paint brush, would eliminate the "spot", because metallic paint does not touchup well at all; so I live with it, one spot beside my right headlight, since "nothing in life deserves to be perfect", and this is my imperfection, to remind me of that fact; ).
