P053F Error Code

So the other day I was driving home and went to accelerate and it felt like the car was loosing power while at the same time the engine rev’d high! Did this every time I tried to accelerate. Finally pulled over and shut it off for a few minutes. Than after it was fine. Got home no problem. The next day I ran the scanner and got this P053F Pending error code. Has something to do with Cold Start Fuel Pressure Performance. No clue what that is?? Anyone have this happen? Mine is a 2023 GT-Line with the 2.5L

first time I've read of a 2.5l going into 'limp mode'. the unknown code just adds to the mystery. maybe it's your scan tool that is ignorant. try the dealer.
