I have a 2022 Stinger GT with 28000 miles on it. The other day the engine light came on and reported that there was a system error in the engine control system. I plugged in my OBD-II and got error code: P0442: Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Small Leak)
Reading up on this, sometimes its a simple matter of making sure your gas cap is sealed correctly. I did this and removed the error code. After a few short trips in the car, the light came back on with the same error.
Has anyone had this? Is it possible to fix yourself? There are no performance issues with the car as far as I can tell. I made an appointment with the dealer this week. Would this be something that would fall under warranty?
