To be clear we're not Kia newbies...in fact our 2021 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD is our 6th new car from Peak Kia in Littleton, CO in the last 13 years, and 8th Kia we've been indirectly associated with (our 2006 Kia Sportage EX bought used came from there originally (and still in the family), and we helped my father-in-law buy a Forte). Things change, of course, but in a good way...our salesman for four of the cars (2008 Sorento EX, 2012 Optima Hybrid, 2013 Sportage SX, 2015 Optima SXL) is now a sales manager, and the salesman from our new 2021 micro blue Stinger GT2 AWD has been around for many of our purchases. Some things stay the same, too; normally the dealership brings over someone from the service department, but in our case, Bob saw us at the sales table (thanks to COVID) and stopped by himself. Of course, Cory was the finance guy as he was on our other five, so it really was a 'family' feel, as much as you can feel the vibe while remaining socially distant.
So once the 2015 SXL was paid off, it began a search for our Stinger. It helps, of course, that we knew what we wanted, thanks to the forum! We already knew the Unicorn wasn't likely to be available (a low-mileage 2018 Red-on-Red GT2 AWD), and if we couldn't get that one, we wanted a 2019 (or newer) so that we could get the 360 camera. I had multiple search engines looking for the best deal (including the Unicorn) and was ready to pull the trigger at a nearby dealer on a 2020 ceramic silver on red, despite the reception at this other Kia dealer was less than warm. Something told me to pop onto the Peak Kia website and see what they had on the lot. We found 'Stella', a new 2021 Micro Blue on Black GT2 with a ton of incentives that made buying new much better than the 'used car' deals we were seeing. This was nothing new; Peak Kia has always gotten us the best deals without the hassle, and it was our usual experience with them once again! Stella now has a remote starter, paint protection package, and window tinting
