Has anyone ever ran one of these?

I had a chip in my '01 supercharged mustang GT but i bought the car with the chip already installed. I was 18 when i bought the car, i knew nothing about them (performance chips), never learned about it and honestly never cared to at that age.

Every time i see an ad for one i see the same thing... boosts HP by 45%, 40% added torque, improved fuel economy, etc. but i just find that very hard to believe. I know i can buy the JB4 tuner which I plan to do so but I ran across these as i was browsing the web and im just curious to hear the facts from those who know more than I. Can they be trusted? or are they complete BS?

Here are a couple links to a few i noticed recirculating in my browser....

Thanks in advance for the guidance/advice!

They're scams. The one your Mustang had was probably a tune in a box. You plug it into your OBDII, load the software, and disconnect it.

The products in your post also go into the OBDII but they remain there and blink pretty lights at you. That's all they do--they flash lights. Nothing more.

Go on Google/YouTube and search the specific products and read/watch the INDEPENDENT reviews (the ones from people, not tuning companies).
