Hello all..
In a recent purchase and discussion a question was raised between a friend and myself... recently purchased the JB4 for the 3.3 Stinger ....would it be ok to use the JB4 on map 1 without connecting the fuel wires to the O2 sensors until the adapters arrive using 93 octane

Welcome! Just letting you know that I've moved this topic into our Stinger JB4 support forum. :)

Yes, this is fine. I run map 1 with 91 octane. What the fuel wires do is let the jb4 lean out the mixture slightly under WOT. BMS found that the default map in the ECU tends to run rich on WOT and they can squeeze out a little more power by actually leaning it out slightly.
Did he put in better plugs? You can probably do OK on map 1 with the stock plugs, but any higher and you need Denso or HKS (preferred IMHO) gapped around .024.
