Avoid these guys like the plague. Sales are okay, Finance will try to rob you blind, and Service is expensive, clueless, and slow.
Sales are okay:
They are friendly, but will not go the extra mile. For example, if you notice anything wrong with your car, no matter how minor, you need to beg/plead to get them to do anything right. Then they act like they are doing a great service. When I purchased my used Stinger there was some stereo wiring (previous owner), but they wouldn't even remove it. It took me 15 mins to remove it.
Finance:
Finance will tack on everything. For me, they tried to add KIA Protect, Extended Warranty, Asset Protection, Death Warranty (no joke), and Lifetime Oil changes. The worst thing is they make it sound like it's one package and will not show a price breakdown unless you ask.
Service: [I've tried multiple service desk techs so it's not just one of them]
1) The 3M on my car has a scratch from the previous owner. Every time I am there the same guy asks me what happened. Please take the time to remember your customers.
2) They don't even know what happens to the car with their mechanics. Ex) Mechanics discover some warranty work needs to be done. The service desk folks don't even tell me about it and say the car is good to go. They only remembered after I asked them what this was on the invoice.
3) On average they seem to charge way more. Example) Service 3 at my local dealer is $369 CAD. At Northland Kia, it's $569
4) They replaced something under warranty but broke my car in midst of fixing something else. They replaced a strut only to break a wheel castle nut (car undrivable) which took a whole week to get the part. The worst part was I wasn't even offered a loaner until a week later. My ford dealer offers a loaner anytime it takes longer than agreed upon for something to get done.
5) It takes them 2 hrs 30 mins to complete an oil change [I don't do oil changes with them anymore]. I do oil changes with drive up ramps faster than these guys. My current dealer takes 2 hrs to take apart an entire seat assembly, troubleshoot it, directly power the lumbar support, and determine a new part is needed.
6) They said I didn't get an alignment, but the service invoice says alignment completed.... the list goes on.
I honestly don't like writing bad reviews but please just be cautious when going to these guys for anything.
