So, I want to go for a drive this weekend to a hiking spot. I have ordered replacement rear pads for the stinger however I don't know if they will be here tomorrow as I have not gotten a tracking order yet. The rear pads have plenty of meat left on them but they have started hitting the wear indicator. Will I be ok to drive it while it continues to hit the indicator? I do have a bit of squeaking but again, there is plenty of meat left on the pads. I just don't want the indicators to dig into the rotors to much.

If your hiking spot is a mile away, you'll be fine.

If it's 5,000 miles away, you might not.

I have checked the pad life and it looks fine, it's just hitting the wear indicator. I will be changing them out soon. I already made my trip. It wasn't to far. Couple hundred miles. I'm expecting the pads today and I'll get them swapped out this week sometime.
