Non-Sunroof Headliner Question

I live in AZ, and just got this car. Is it possible to add something to the roof to help insulate it more? I can feel the heat radiating from the headliner. I put my driving glasses in the storage bin in the roof and when I retrieve them they are blistering hot. How hard is it to take down the headliner?

it's been a while but try youtube for kia stinger and 'starlight headliner' or 'headliner lights'. back when the car was new i know there were a few videos online with headliner removals for those awful headliner fiberoptic light kits. i know the two exposed push clips at the back get released from under the headliner though i broke them removing the antenna
