There is no Kelley Blue Book value for the 2019 Kia Stinger yet. The Genesis G70 has had values since July but nothing for the 2019 Stingers.

Right now there are 431 used Stingers listed on Cars.com and only 220 used G70 vehicles.

Does anyone know why the newest Stingers don’t have a KBB value yet? Judging by the current used car prices the KBB values should be really high for the Stinger GT2. In fact the KBB trade in values might actually be higher than the lease buyout prices for a GT2 in some places.

I know some dealers don’t go just off of KBB but online vendors like Carvana and Vroom do in a lot of cases.

There probably aren't enough sales yet. Price guides go off of auction data, and though there are quite a few listings there may not be enough cars sold.

FYI, KBB is a consumer product. Few dealers use KBB to value trade-ins. They mostly use Manheim Market Report (MMR). Carvana is an exception as they are partnered with KBB for their valuations.

A couple other consumer pricing guides to check: CarGurus, but they only have the 2.0T model pricing so far. Edmunds, but no pricing there yet.

Most dealerships use NADA.

The thing is that if one company uses KBB and their evaluation is high then you can shop that offer around to everyone else. In the end they all use KBB directly or most likely indirectly.
