I am in Canada, I have a 2018 Kia Stinger GT Limited(3.3L T-GDI). This is my first post in this forum:)

I was doing research on the best engine oil type for my 2018 Kia Stinger GT limited (3.3L), according to my 2018 manual, it allows 5 different engine oil (5W-30,5W40,10W30,15W40,20W50). However on 2019 Kia stinger 3.3L, it only shows 5W-30 and 10W30.

Can't post links/images as a new member so i will try to post it later.

I have also looked into this 3.3L T-GDI used on Genesis G80/G90 on 2017/2018/2019, they all shows 5W30 and 10W30.

2018 Stinger is the only one that allows 5W40.

My questions:
1. Any reason of taking off 5W40 from the list for 2019 Kia Stinger?
2. Any engine change from 2018 to 2019 which results of engine oil change?
3. What engine oil do you use for your 2018 Stinger 3.3L and why?
4. What is PE stand for for 2019 "Lambda II PE 3.3L T-GDI"? 2018 is just "Lambda II 3.3L T-GDI"
