Hi there everyone, this is my first post.
I recently had my catted NGT primary Downpipes (turbo back) delivered and am looking at what a disaster it’s going to be to get them installed. Anyone have an estimated time frame on how long it’s going to be to get them installed? Also looking at having a shop do them but want to know an estimated time frame to get them on. Thanks everyone!!

Have you done header installs before? Or any extensive exhaust work?

It could take about 2 hours if everything comes out easy. With a lift and all the right equipment it could probably be done in one hour. Could take most of a day if one or more O2 is seized, or if a flange nut is rusted tight. That's pretty common. If it was me and my buddy doing it, and we're wrenching every weekend, I'd plan 4 hours. For a less experienced person, especially solo, I'd expect most of the day. It's one of those things where most of it goes really fast, then you're stuck on one fastener for an hour.

There's nothing really challenging here. You'll need a bunch of extensions and universal joints. Rent the O2 socket set if you don't have one. Soak all the fasteners in your favorite penetrating oil. There's a decent chance that one of the studs on the turbo will break, and then life gets much more difficult.
