Hey guys. Currently a 2015 Optima SXL owner and only recently been following the Stinger announcements and catching up some of the new reviews. Was a 2012 EX-T owner before, however, a mishap with that along with a good replacement value insurance policy put me behind an SXL for not much more. Obviously, I like the Kia product, esp. the bang for the buck and warranty.

Looks like the Stinger is in short supply for a while, and I'm in no hurry for a replacement yet. With money likely being a limiting factor, I'm more inclined to back off GT trim and settle for the same (or similar) 2.0T in a Premium trim level. One thing, I definitely don't want to give up many features I already have in the SXL, though the Stinger is magnitudes hotter looking.

I've got 56K mileage on the Optima and new tires, and will probably incur another 20k miles this upcoming year. Anyway, once the sales prices falls well below MRSP, I'm a potential buyer with a trade up.

Welcome aboard, @CeruleanBlue! And thank you for signing up. It looks like you've had some nice Optimas so you're certainly familiar with what you get for the price with Kia vehicles. It also sounds like you're not exactly in a hurry to switch cars so you might be right in time for the second model year (2019) Stinger - which will likely have some improvements here and there - including, I bet, a couple of those missing features you have in your current Optima. In any event, I'm glad you found us and I hope you find our community entertaining, engaging, and informative! :)
