Hello, My name is Rick I live and work in Las Vegas and I'm glad I found a Forum for the new KIA Stinger. I haven't purchased one yet and will probably wait until July when my current car is paid off. I love the looks of the new Stinger and am hoping it will live up to my expectations as I planned to purchase a BMW 440I Xdrive until I saw the KIA which is about $20K less with the same options. I just want to make sure it drives and handles well. From everything I've read and heard it sounds like a fantastic car.

Welcome aboard, @Rcass13! Thank you for signing up. Believe it or not, I've heard people say the Stinger drives and handles BETTER than the BMW 440i. Pretty amazing... I'm glad you found us. What are you currently driving? If you're going to wait until July - you might as well stay CLOSELY tuned around here because there's a possibility the 2019 Stinger will be released a little earlier than usual...

Thanks for the welcome. I’m currently driving a Audi SQ5 which I plan on keeping. Looking for something fun for an everyday driver. I will probably lease and will keep an eye on what everyone has to say about the Stinger. And if they are going to release the 2019 early I will probably wait for it.

Welcome to the site! I've always liked the SQ5. I rode in one when they first came out and thought it was the most fun suv I'd ever driven. A friend of mine has one with an APR tune. It's fast!

Welcome to the forums Rick!

I'm interested to see what updates they make (things that come standard or not) on the later models 2018 and 2019!

-Paul
