• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

I just purchased my brand new 2019 Kia Premium Stinger in panthera metal. It was a dealer trade, driven from Ocala, Florida to Coral Springs, Florida.I had switched colors (from white) at the last minute, and, Having had to redo all the signing, hurriedly and stupidly, when signing new papers did not look at the mileage. The car was now being traded with a different dealership because of the color switch. The car arrived with a total of 339 miles on it. The driving distance between dealerships is 270 miles, which means the car already had 70 miles on it before being driven to Coral Springs. I know it’s a 2019, But still, seems like a lot of mileage. In addition the car came with pinstriping which was never mentioned to me, yet, curiously, there was no recording of it on the original window sticker. I am worried that the car may have been bought, used and returned up in Ocala. Between the mileage and pinstriping, it gives me great pause. Help, I’d love to get some feedback. Thoughts?

70 miles tells me it was taken on several test drives, or one of the managers drove it home a few times. When I bought mine, it had 500 more miles on it than when it was listed at the dealership (12,500 when listed, 13,000 when I picked it up). The service manager had been taking it home as his personal vehicle.

It also had a curb hit on one of the front wheels, and a very minor bump damage on one of the front fascia points that were not in the photos.

If it has been purchased before, you should be able to find a record of it. I found the registration listing for the first owner of my car.

Personally, I would not be worried about the extra 70 miles (110 km).
That is easily generated during transportation driving to and from as well as on and off ships and parking lots between wharf and dealer.
I received my brand new car with a solid 83 km on the clock. I am thinking I came out very well on that score.
You can fret about it or look on the positive side: those are just some settling in miles. The real fun mileage is just starting...
I am just now turning 50 000 exhilarating kilometers and loving every one if them.
