I’m hoping this new version will not only look better but perform better as well. Let’s hope that replacing the 2.0T and 2.4 and this issues with the 2.5T will lead to better performance, reliability and also economy.

Interesting... my 2012 Optima is still great car. AWD and 300HP would be a big improvement. I like the design of the new Sonata, but FWD only as far as I know. More vehicles to consider when it's time for my next car.

They might bring AWD to the new Sonata and I suspect the upcoming Optima will get it too. I’m still looking for a sporty hybrid version, if they give it AWD, that could be interesting. Sort of like a Volvo AWD with an electric motor at the rear and a 2.5T up front, l’m game for that!
