Was at the dealership today and saw the 2022 Stingers.

The new logo on the hood looks a lot nicer than before. Sharper, meaner, and more premium.

I was happily surprised with the back of the car having only the central "Stinger" script like a lot of us have modded. How long has Kia been doing that? It's surprising they're fine without a Kia badge on the trunk, but I applaud the effort.

I love Kia automobiles. I’ve had a 2011 Optima LX, and a 2015 Optima SXL, both excellent, reliable cars that looked and performed beautifully. However, to a post war baby boomer and a Vietnam era young adult, to me KIA looks like “killed in action“. I changed the front badge to the vintage stylized “K”. Still a KIA emblem, but one that just looks better to me.

Pretty sure they started the Stinger script on the 2019 model.

Good to know! I haven't kept up since I got a 2018 and don't post here as much. Still, nice to see the introduction of a new logo didn't screw with a good thing. I love the Stinger script on the back.
