Negotiating USED stinger GT2?

In the market for a used stinger GT2.. not sure if im just a terrible negotiator but iv called 3 dealers and none will negotiate on a used 2018 stinger GT2.. any have success or is it just my market? Im in socal. The ones iv looked at are the AWD model with 15-25k miles. A red one for $38k out the door and a blue CPO for $40k out the door... Seems a bit steep. Let me know if any are ok prices.

Use KBB or Truecar or any of the other tools to compare.
MSRP for GT2 AWD was, what, $54k? So I don't think those numbers are out of line.
Whether or not they'll negotiate just depends on the sales cycle, if they've met their numbers, how quickly those cars are turning over, etc.

Last year people were getting brand new 2019 GT2 RWD cars for $39K plus tax and dealer fees using the lease buyout. I know the deals aren't as good now but that just seems really high for a used car and the fact that the 2018 models were lacking some features that the newer cars have(All around camera for example).
