I hit a pothole on the highway and popped the driver side front tire. Took it to the dealer, rim was bent, so new rim,, rubber and alignment. Car has 55K on it.

The front driver side camber is out -1.2" and they couldn't bring it in any closer. There doesn't appear to be any damage to the suspension but the steering wheel is off center slightly and it's driving me crazy.

They said they can start replacing suspension parts, could be the strut/strut mount is bent? They didn't see anything that looked like it needed to be replaced.

Is there anything else that can causing the negative camber? Trying to figure out what to do next.

My first thought was bent control arm. I think you would do well to get a second opinion from a suspension specialist.

I'm back at the dealer today and they haven't found anything wrong. The wheel seems straight on the alignment rack but it's still not driving straight. Only the driver side tire was replaced, could it be the new tire has a larger circumference than the passenger side? The other 3 tires are 4 months old with 6K on them.

They don't think the camber is causing the problem, I drove with the tech a couple times, something ain't right.
