I have an iPhone that is usually on do not disturb so I do not get text notification sounds.
However, when I connect to the car via bluetooth, it always asks me to "allow notifications" for the car and the prompt happens on every start. I finally gave in and allowed notifications thinking it would still mirror the do not disturb but now every time I get a text message, my music pauses and there is an annoying notification sound blurted out.
Is there a way to mute the car so it does not pause music for every text or a way to permanently disable the "please allow notifications" prompt when connecting via bluetooth.
