I'm going to go pick up my 93 year-old mother in a few minutes and take her to put flowers on Dad's "spot". That will probably be more than she can take on, i.e. will be exhausting. But I know that she wants to do this. Just two years ago, I drove her over there on Friday before Memorial Day to put flowers down, and she was able enough. The difference two years makes at her age is remarkable and unwelcome. Soon, Mom will be with Dad again.
