Did a thing today.
Installed a magsafe style charger into the top of the storage drawer. Much cheaper then the OEM unit and won't overheat from the heater duct.
This plus AA Wireless makes the phone all wireless with the car, charging and Android Auto.
The magnetic ring installed inside the phone case is powerful enough to keep the phone from moving even if pick the thing up and hold it sideways.
Just need my right angle USB-C to USB-A adapter power.
Will install into the car this weekend if the weather stays nice enough, no garage to work in.
