Hey Happy New Year, folks.

Just got back from a lengthy trip. We took our dog and four-month-old to see my family several weeks ago, about an eight-hour drive. We decided to stay through Christmas, feeling like this was the best way to be safe (we got tested, quarantined, etc., and basically moved our bubble eight hours west) and get my family time with our baby.

This required a LOT of stuff! I bought roof racks and we stuff the car, as well as the Thule cargo box on top. Packing was tricky, and got me thinking about how to do it efficiently. The Stinger has a ton of luggage space, but it’s a little tricky to use. Soft-sided stuff works best, because you can best leverage the angled back seats and the curves in the sides, right?

That’s a lengthy explanation for: anyone have luggage suggestions? I could (and probably will) just order a couple of duffel bags of varying sizes for future trips, but figured I’d ask here first in case anyone has a brilliant suggestion.

Thanks all!

Get a babysitter for the dog or baby. Those are my only "brilliant" suggestions. (just kidding)

I've packed three ice chests in my hatch, without even removing the hatch liner (unhinged it, of course). I am a fan of soft-sided luggage. So, you're already ahead of me. :D
