Los Angeles ppl where you at - E85 question for you

If you’re in LA like me, where do you get E85 and how many gallons do you put in and which map on JB4 with it?

I know a few stations where I buy E85 but who knows what their mixture really is and I’ve avoided getting a tester to this point. So if you have a station in LA that you think is consistent in terms of their E85 mix in any way, share the knowledge on the E85 gallons you mix with 91 fuel.

Or maybe such a unicorn of a gas station with consistent E85 mix just doesn’t exist…then I’ll get a tester bc my guess n check methods have sucked lately.

Download the Pearson fuels app. I use it when I travel and it is great. It will show you closest locations to you wherever you are in Cali.

In terms of how much, it all depends on the stations E content. The station I go to I put 7.2 gallons in every time and it gives me E42 ( i run CPI so can run more E).

Start off with 4 gallons and go from there.

Ever since I got my EWG add-on connectors I got over zealous with E85 amounts on map 4 which caused me to lose turbos a few times. Well at least the JB4 and connectors did their job bc I didn't blow my engine!
