Great forum as always, been reading lots of old posts, however, would like some help here.

On my '22 GT2, I'm going with Gemello rims, 20x9 Niche Gemello Gloss Anthracite Machined M220 on Fronts and 20x10.5 Niche Gemello Gloss Anthracite Machined M220 on rear. This will be matched with Michelin's
2 x 245/35/20 (Front) 2x 285/30/20 (rear).

I've seen people push to 255 on fronts, and others drop down to 275 on the rears. Since I want to stay staggered, is there a big difference between 275 and 285 on Rear, do the 285 make the car look "comical"?? And the fronts, I'm trying to imagine 255 on fronts, I just can't picture that wide of a tire on the front.

I think the rears the difference is 1/2 inch between the 275 and 285, but, sometimes all it takes is that small amount to turn cool into ugh. Since the rear fender, on the backside of the tire, curves inward, does that .5 inch make the tire really, really stick out? Anyone see it personally?

Opinions?

What an interesting and unique question. I have seen only one "comical" Stinger in pictures, and that was a wide body with ludicrous fake addon scoops and whatnot -- in S. Korea, if I recall correctly. I don't think it is possible to make a stock body Stinger look comical with wider tires. (Welcome into the open: that was quite a lengthy lurking spell. :D)

Wider tires/rims always look better to me, it gives the car a nice beefy stance.

The new Corvetter C8 Z06 has 275's up front and 345's in the rear and looks fantastic.
