License plate light keeps breaking

Hi guys,

I'm about to replace my right license plate light for the 3rd time in just a bit over a year. The first time I thought it happened from shutting the trunk too hard. Then I thought it was a faulty replacement.

Has anyone had this issue? I still don't know why they keep failing. The left side of the light sags down like the tab broke. At this point I'm considering a couple drops of liquid nails.

Does anyone know if another model uses the same light so I could potentially get it cheaper?

If the light wiggles, clearly it gets rattled to death over time. Your idea to secure it is a good one.

I will give it a shot and see how long it lasts. Thought it was strange it would fail so often.
