Hi all. I’ve been negotiating back and forth with several dealers the past few days and one has been somewhat good on getting pricing back and working with me. They forgot the extra $1000 in rebates for the Stinger and gladly added it when I pointed it out.

That said, I’ve never dealt with a car lease before and need some help making sense with this document. I ultimately aim to buyout the lease should I go with it but don’t know what a lot of these terms are. I’m also really trying to figure out what my all in price would be.

Any help or opinions on if this deal looks good would be super appreciated.

At first glance, here are the things I'd point out that are keeping you from a better deal:

- Dealer discount only $2700. That's just over 6%. Honestly, I think you should ask for 10% off from the dealer before incentives for a 2018 model at this point in the year.

- Trade allowance $1500. Is this an actual trade that you're making or are they using that as a placeholder for you to put money down?

- Why 15k miles per year? Might as well set it up for 10k to keep your payment down even if you're buying out, as you'll still have to pay at least a month or two before being able to do the buyout.

- Doc fee of $379 seems high to me and probably a place where they're making free money, but I don't know where you're located so hard to tell.

Thanks!

The trade allowance is a fair price because my current car is a 2008 Mazda 3 and it's not worth much at all. If I go with this car I'd be picking it up a couple states away. I can ask to reduce the miles and also ask for more dealer discounts.

I'm still trying to understand what my all-in cost is. What does it look like from this form?
