Anyone got any leads on dealers that would do a remote purchase? Contacted like 10+ dealers that had stingers gt2 in stock but struck out after I said I was remote purchasing from Hawaii, even with going to arrange my own shipment. The KIA dealer here only has new GT1 in stock.

Welcome into the open. No idea. But did you offer to help with the shipping costs at all? I think that would make a mainland dealer listen.

Funny story, I used to sell Kia back on Maui. West coast dealers just don't want to deal with the shipping damage that often occurs with lower cars. Back when the 2015 Optima SXL's were hot west coast dealers wouldn't ship them because Young Brothers Hawaii would F*ck up the front lip on those so badly. When I worked for Lexus there, we had a rigorous pickup inspection when getting cars of the boats because of all the underbody damage we were experiencing. Before I moved away they dropped a shipping container on a brand new Subaru Outback lol.

But, I can probably help. I'm an auto broker out in Colorado. I can help point you in the right direction with one of my west coast contacts.
Let me know what color and trim you're looking for. amoriyasu@centleasing.com

Have you checked the local inventory? What island are you in?
