Lease Buyout in Virginia - Question

Hi all, I have a question about lease buyouts in VA and I'm hoping someone who has done one can shed some light for me. My dealer told me if I go back to them for the buyout, I won't have to pay taxes again since they were the dealership I paid taxes through initially. Does anyone have experience with that? Or is the dealer just trying to get me back in there to generate more money for the dealership?


I've read through alot of the lease buyout threads and didn't see anything specifically about this so any thoughts or insight is much appreciated.
