Hope this thread serves as a platform for others to build upon; sharing their experiences and impressions, as well as providing information to any newcommers looking to tune their 3.3 TT Stinger.
First and foremost I have to thank David Chung and the Lap3 company for providing excellent customer service and tuning products for the KDM community over the last 8+ years (at least since I've been around).
For my 2018 Kia Stinger I've been fortunate enough to have the Lap3 Pro Tuner the last year or so. To me, it was an excellent and sophisticated piggy back system, capable of reaching 500whp given the correct modifications.a straight forward install, and minimally invasive unit, you can use the base maps which include a 91, 93, E30 or methanol option.
Just recently I received the ECU tune from lap3 and I don't know how they outdid themselves. The pro tuner had great power but now, in comparison, the ecu tune is 100% smoother, faster and refined. To quote another user, launch control now is "violent." Boost is instant. And the crackle pop evokes childish giggles as you left off the gas pedal. I am so satisfied with lap3 in general, but even more so now that I have their methanol ecu tune.
