I had a great experience with the team at Koons Kia in Woodbridge, VA. Once I had my sights set on a Stinger, I had a VERY specific combo I needed to make the purchase. This was, had to be Ceramic silver, with 19" wheels (NO 18s), NO bumper holes for front license bracket, AND the specific numbers HAD to work.
This was a HARD combo for somebody in PA as it seemed EVERY dealer bought the 18s. I had atleast 3 dealers straight up lied to my face about Kia doesn't make the 19's anymore etc.., I had a dealer trying to out the door me @57k..... I talked to ALOT of dealers....
I called Koons late night, about 10m before closing and the sales person I spoke with was great. He understood everything I wanted, didn't try to lie to me, and really worked his butt off over the next few days to find that car. He was in touch every step of the way. The sticker number was the lowest I had found (not going to disclose), and got me out the door right where I wanted to be. My trade was pretty much right where what was fair to both parties. No haggle, and this was a big thing. We worked together to make a deal. NEVER felt like a haggle.....
I went to pick up the car like 3 days later and was exactly to what we agreed upon. Sadly, they had to source the car from out of state, so it took a hit on some miles in (had 14 when found, 230 to bring it in)... but to make up for that, they offered me a remote starter. Sadly, I was scheduled to arrive before they could get the part instock so they offered a WE OWE ticket, for when I picked a dealer near my home, they would pay for the part and install. I haven't scheduled yet, but will update this if something goes south with this. There was no additional buy this, buy that haggle. I said, I don't want anything other than the car and that was it.
One of the best experiences with a dealer I have ever had, and Ive had alot of experience in the past few years.
