I need help trying to figure out whats going on with my 2019 kia stinger gt2. I get a knock sound in cold start then it goes away about 3 seconds after that. the car drives completely fine until arounds 2.5-2.7k rpms where the knocking comes back. i have video of cold start but dont know how to attach. Can anyone help me out?
Is this option available when you reply? Maybe because its your first post you can't. The knocking noise maybe the High Pressure fuel pump. But won't know till we hear.

An actual knock, like lower engine bearing noise, or an upper engine lifter tick/tap? Because the latter is annoying but normal for the HPFP. And do you mean the noise returns any time you hit 2500-2700 rpm? Or the combo of cold start + 2500-2700 rpm?
If it's only cold, please don't rev your engine like that...let it at least drop out of high idle before driving, and don't rev it out until temp gauge shows you're warmed up.
To see if your cold start noise is normal, check out this post where @D.J. timestamps everything:
Was talking to a friend about our HPFP sound during cold start up, the normal sound.
Decided to take a video and overlay some OBDII DATA (coolant temp, RPM, oil temp, ambient temp, intake air temp).
Video depicts first start of the day, when coolant temp = ambient air temp.
@ ~ 25s fan shuts off (audible)
@ ~ 33s there is a noticeable reduction in sound from the HPFP, coolant temp = 36°C (97°F)
Not sure why the fan runs for first ~25 seconds. The HVAC is OFF during this video
Video is long and boring, but has the time since engine start overlaid in bottom right corner, so...
