Kia stinger shifting problem ??

This issue has started recently happening, During launch control or if the pedal is fully depressed from a stand still the RPM will surge to around 7K before it seems it fails to shift up and shuts down the launch or acceleration attempt abruptly kind of lurching the car forward. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be?

Hitting the kickdown switch while going at higher speeds hasn't triggered the issue as I've done so on the highway with no issue.

In the 2.0L the high pressure fuel pump has been enough of an issue failing that KIA recalled for it. I recently had mine replaced under warranty. It is possible that the high pressure fuel pump in the 3.3L could also begin to fail. Ima sure there are numerous other possible causes. My 2.0L behaved exactly as you describe before the high pressure fuel pump was replaced.
