Do I have to change and regap my spark plugs to run map3 on my 2022 Kia stinger gt1? If I do not change the plugs what will it do? My mechanic said he had to take off the upper plenum to change plugs is that true?

it's recommended. I'm pretty sure someone else can explain in more in detail than me but you'll have a misfiring problem if you don't gap or switch them out. I recommend switching them out. also, you can do this yourself. will save you a lot of money and maybe take you one hour if it's your first time. the video below will show you how you can change out your spark plugs without taking the intake manifold off.

when I did mine I only had problems with the second spark plug on the passenger's side.
