Kia Picanto GT!

Sadly continuing a trend in cynical car marketing, KIA New Zealand has introduced a 2018 Picanto 'GT'. You might be led into believing this is a new compact 'Hot' hatch, but no it has the same 1.25 liter NA Weezer pared with 4-speed auto, exactly the same as their standard 'LX' offering. Honda does the same here with their 'RS' Civics & Jazzes (Fit). Naff:

It appears to be only GT "styling". But since that's what Honda is doing - I guess that's par for the course. In other words, they're not raising the bar - just playing the same game. Not terrible, really - but it would be nice to see them bring something special to market. We have these kinds of cars over here as well. They're slow as a sick pelican - and tiny - but they look sort of sporty...
