Hey, I downloaded the app called “Kia Access” and it asked me to input my pin both manually and with the option of using of my phone’s camera to scan the barcode for input. I did and it pulls up my vin and my car. The year and model is correct but not my mileage, trips, poi, and location. I live in Houston but the map pulls up in Sydney Australia. Also the preferred dealer has changed from my input to another dealer in Sydney. I have not payed anything myself for this service but I did buy the car used. Any help with this problem and has anyone else had this or am I the only one? I have contacted Kia and been set on a never ending cycle of redirecting and “check out FAQ for any further questions”. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Be patient, Grasshopper. It's Kia Corp. These things can take weeks if not months. When I upgraded my map months after getting my car, I got a call from Kia months after that, asking how it went? They're just slooow. Except when suddenly they're on it: one phone call was all it took to do the lease buyout and I had my title in under a month; so, they can be quick. Just don't plan on it.

As for your mysterious info fubar: I'm confident that YOUR vehicle did not originate in Aus. Hah!? What the answer is can only analogously be pointed to as "it's the Internet!". Notice how the little national flag icons with our avatars do not always point to where people reside. One Aus member routinely shows up as Singapore and it's because he's at the office. I saw most recently a Polish flag and the location was nowhere near Poland. But the first time I asked about this, early in my time here, the member said yes, in fact he was in Mongolia, visiting in-laws. So, you never know. Kia's websites are buggy and not updated with anything like alacrity either.

Have you run the UVO diagnostics on the car with the phone plugged in (and the UVO app installed)? If not, it won't pull in that data. The cars don't have telemetry in the US, so bringing in mileage, service intervals, etc requires the UVO to be manually synced to the phone.
