I will be getting my new intake today and I have to choose which cold day to install it. I was curious after watching a few videos of there being issues with fitment and some clamps not being able to properly seal. Do I still need to get some of my own clamps to make this install go more smooth? I would hate to have to need a clamp when my intakes are completely removed. Any tips for making this install go problem free? Thanks.

I had no problem doing it the first time with the clamps provided

I decided to use my own clamps on the turbo/intake tube connections. I swapped out factory clamps for hex/flat head bolt tightened style clamps everywhere on my intake and blow off valve connections though. Glad I did too because they secure very well. A lot better than those kinds that come from factory. Although the factory are good enough I’m sure. I wanted to tighten just a little more. I shouldn’t be able to pull any connections out by hand that are held on via clamps. I was able to because I feel like once they are removed and put back on a couple times, they lose their tightness in the hose.
