Hey all,

I am thinking of getting the JB4 and having it installed. I have a 2019 GT1 AWD. Has anyone done this yet? What I want to know is

-how much faster does it make 0-60? If the stock is at 4.7 will this get me close to 4.0?
-how much louder does it make the car? unbearably loud?
-have there been any problems with the JB4? I heard it may cause too much tire spin. Maybe that is not a problem as I have AWD.
-if I install this will a dealership refuse to service my car when I bring it in for normal service?

This is your proverbial can of worms question here. There are many, hotly debated, opinions on this exact topic on the Forms. In short, with just the piggy back, you should see a noticeable performance gain, torque limits that control tire spin/hp drops should still be in place, and if you’re going in for more than an oil change, remove it. I’ve talked with several of the service department managers in my area and they’ve all said the issue with modding your car will be warranty work and Kia America. Noise should be the same.

All in all, I recommend a tune. Biggest bang for your buck imo. But as I said, hotly debated.

So basically what you are saying is that top end power would increase but torque will remain same at 376? So because os that 0-60 won't be much different? That makes sense about warranty. So if anything happens to the car that is out of your control but is covered under warranty to be fixed, won't be fixed unless you take the JB4 out?
