I just bought my 2019 Kia stinger GT the previous owner put a JB4 tune on it, I’m just getting into the car scene and don’t know that much about this kind of stuff. I know that there’s an app for it. I don’t have it yet. Recently, I was driving and stepped on it in comfort mode first and then Eco mode and both times the turbo would spool up then I would lose power to the gas pedal and the check engine light would come on. I pulled over turn the car off waited 30 seconds turned it back on the engine light was gone the first time the second time the engine light and two other lights came on when I turned it off and turned it back on the engine. Light stayed, but drove fine. I was taking it easy then I stopped switched it to sport mode turned it off waited a few minutes, turned it on, and the check engine light was gone. I’m not sure what’s going on if it has something to do with the tune or not. Any insight would be appreciated.
