3.3TT JB4 optional device connection

There are 2 optional device connections when selecting the JB4. I also noticed a price on the JB4 Mobile App in the app store. Do you need to get the optional JB4 Wireless Mobile Smart Phone Kit (Wireless Connection) in order for the JB4 Mobile app to work? If so, does that +$140 option include the cost of the mobile app?

Or can I just buy the JB4 and the mobile app?

JB4 Mobile is $179 total for smart phone integration ($140 +$29). The windows software is $35 total ($35 for cable, free for software)
