Hi All,
Just got my JB4 in the mail, coming from a Hyundai Genesis where my ECU was fully reflashed, so my first rodeo with a tune such as this. I definitely understand the "normal" installation, of the two intermediary wires, and I watched the video on the fuel wires. I'm pretty sure I understand all of that.
Forgive me if this has been asked - I have searched to no avail - what is the point of the OBD2 connector, that is routed into the cabin and plugged into the port? What would the disadvantages be of not doing this and/or the advantage of making that connection?
I do not have the Bluetooth version, but rather than data link wires with USB, if that makes a difference in any of this. Thanks all, and hope this isn't a duplicate.
