Hello,

My name is Ajay and I am having a problem with my JB4.

I have a 2018 kia stinger gt2 3.3L, and have had the JB4 unit on for over a year now and only run 93 for fuel.

I've had the unit working completely fine for this entire time. On occasion the vehicle would lose it's firmware for the JB4 and run terribly. In those instances I had updated the firmware and flashed the device. As of last week, all of a sudden I am unable to connect to the JB4 device via bluetooth. I currently am running

- Borla Catback exhaust
- Taketa intakes
- Catch can
- Cold Plugs
- Lowering Springs
(Not many upgrades)

Last week my car began to boggle and stutter . I checked my JB4 and the firmware had reset. So I had to re-flash my car with the newest firmware on the JB4. Since then I had an issue with a code coming up with the MAP sensor (P0107) on the vehicle. It wasn't dirty, but I cleaned it, put it back on and it was fine (no code). I then began to run into more issues where the MAP sensor and the turbo wastegates Codes (P0107 and P0234) came up so the vehicle began to boggle. I took the vehicle home and the next morning I simply could not connect to the JB4 via bluetooth. I have tried everything as seen below

- Checked the Positaps for power, changed where they were, and tested again. Positaps have power
- Checked all the wires and the seating's to the wires or cables. Everything was fine
- Removed the entire system, and reconnected it. Did not work
- I deleted the app then reinstalled it, Did not work
- I tried the app on a different phone, Did not work
- I went to the dev options and did both a firmware recovery, and write several times. Both times it is able to originally connect to the JB4. Then after the process is over, I go back to the JB4 app and try to connect from the Gauges screen and it continually says cannot detect bluetooth, contact support.
- Also, on my bluetooth settings it can see the device (JB4) on the device list when the car is in accessory mode. But the app itself cannot detect the device in the Gauges screen.
- I then read on a forum that during the colder months (I'm in Massachusetts) its best to install additional EWG wires to the wastegates sockets and attach them to the JB4 harness. I did that (in hopes it might change something) and still dont have any connection to the bluetooth on the device.

My next possible options are to

- Purchase the manual BMS data wire and load maps from my laptop (if it allows me) and to also purchase the PNP fuel wires to replace or relocate the positaps in the system.

- Purchase a new JB4

- Go to a tuner to manually tune the system.

I have also removed the entire system too. But the car continues to boggle because it is now trying to run with the exhaust and intakes minus the tune. So I reinstalled the JB4 system and checked the power on it (still gets power), but wont connect to the bluetooth.

As of right now I'm lost and without a vehicle because the car wont drive at all. Please feel free to comment and help with any suggestions you might think of.

thank you.
