First post, Hey everyone...
I'm about to purchase my tuner from BMS but I have a question on the modes and the built in modes on the vehicle itself.
Basically, what *car mode should the car be in before you go Mode1 on the JB4?
Is it sport? Should you never change it out of sport? What happens if I'm in eco mode on the car but I turn on Mode1 in the tuner? Does that even affect how the car responds?
I hope that makes sense and I apologize if this has been covered before.

JB4 maps and drive modes can be changed independently. You can run any combination of the modes that you like. The JB4 'Modes' are actually tuning maps with increasing aggressiveness (or decreasing in the case of Map 4). The JB4 basically only controls boost and whatnot. The drive modes of the car change throttle position mapping, suspension, etc - completely independent of what the JB4 is saying.

Best performance is in sport mode.

JB4 is compatible and active on all modes, they primarily adjust the pedal to power ratio.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for..
