I’m honestly blown away and still coming off the adrenaline rush.
My friend just added some Torco octane booster and was testing map 5. He let me take it for a spin and I couldn’t believe the extra power!
After driving around for a little we caught up to a nice new 5.0 Stang. I followed him around a u-turn and heard him gun it so I did the same. He was already a car length in front of me when I hit the gas but he couldn’t shake us to about 60. We both slowed for the next light and I pulled to the side of him. We got down to about 20mph before the light turned green we floored it again. He pulled about a foot in front of us, but couldn’t gain any more to about 80 when I let off.
He slowed down and we gave him a thumbs up. He had blacked out tint so we couldn’t see his response but he slowed down more and hung back at our bumper. I tapped the gas a few times but got no reaction and he stayed back behind us for a few miles.
I think the 5.0 was as shocked as I was that he couldn’t shake a Kia. I know they run 11s stock so I am really surprised map 5 on the JB4 made that much of a difference.
My Stinger is quick, but his is a beast and really impressed with the extra power. I still can’t believe a chip could make that much of a difference but 5.0s, SSs & SRT better be on notice!
