JB4 black wires

Hi,
2018 GT2, I have a JB4 but the instructions said only the long blak wire is need it for 3.3L and go in passenger side, that was over year ago, now I am reading or watching video where some guys said you need to do both black wires and the long one to the driver side, I tried but the check engine light came on.

Someone please can tell me if both wire need to connected to the O2 sensor and where the long wire going ?

For the V6, you connect both wires, only one for the 4 cylinder. Since the jb4 is usually mounted on the passenger side, on top of the fuse box, the longer wire taps into the driver side O2 wire.
I highly recommend using the PnP fuel adapter harnesses (two needed for the V6) to avoid tapping into the stock wire harness.
If you get a CEL, you probably tapped into the wrong wire. Another thing the PnP fuel adapters help avoid.

Thanks, so making sure, the wires need to be connected to both RED wire from the O2 Right?

The correct wire to tap is given in the JB4 installation instructions. I think it is a different color depending on which side of the engine. That's why the PnP adapters take the guess work out, only one wire is red, all others are black.
