It's a bit of a pain and I'm not sure if it can be disabled.

I was driving recently on the highway and needed to change lanes to get into the right lane for a turn off in a ton of traffic. I accelerated to make it into the gap between the car in front of me and the car to the right and the stinger slammed on the brakes and I ended up losing speed so much I nearly hit the car beside me that I was accelerating to get ahead of. The car in front of me had braked slightly and I guess I got too close to it which triggered the emergency braking.

Very very dangerous feature in high traffic areas.

I have it turned down to the minimum, but don't know if you can turn it off completely....

On my '22 it can be fully disabled but must be done each time the car is restarted.

Voice command "Search settings for safety" or "Search settings for collision". The one you want will have the word forward in it.

All these nannies so lazy people can drive without crashing!@#

Thanks 2019 here but I will check
